Cocoon is a 275 acre farm situated on the breathtaking Atlantic coast of Portugal. Located only a few minutes from the simple fishing village of Zambujeira do Mar, in the Alentejo region, it’s known for its long stretches of untouched coastline, and charming white-washed villages.
WHERE?
Cocoon is located on the coastal Alentejo region. Also known as The Costa Vicentina, much of the Southwest coast of Portugal is protected by a natural reserve. This means that development stays constrained, with traditional architecture + small farms dotting the land. The nearest town to us is the charming Vila Nova de Milfontes.
The Vicentine Coast Natural Park runs about 100 km down the coast. The preserved nature has a strong + wild character here, creating landscapes of breathtaking majesty. The coast is ideal for swimming, surfing, and world-class hiking along the gorgeous sandstone bluffs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What airport should I fly into?
Lisbon is the closest International Airport, 2 hours drive for Cocoon. We will provide airport shuttles. Once you have booked your flight please send the information to Ujjawal at retreats@pradeepyoga.com, so he can coordinate the transportation with the resort.
What time does the retreat start?
We check into the Cocoon Resort on Saturday June 22nd at 3 pm and our first yoga session will occur on Sunday June 23rd. It is recommended that you arrive at the resort on Saturday June 22nd with plenty of time to settle in and rest. Look for flights that land between 11am and 4pm on June 22nd.
What time does the retreat end?
Our last session is the morning of Saturday June 29th, just before checking out of the resort. It is recommended that you book a departure flight no earlier than 1pm to ensure plenty of time for the airport shuttle ride.
