Santa Cruz Mountains Weekend Yoga Retreat
with Pradeep Teotia
September 29-October 1, 2017
Mt. Madonna Retreat Center, California
Take a break from the busyness of life and work and join Pradeep for a weekend retreat in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. This retreat is for those who wish to deepen both the physical and spiritual practice of yoga.
Yoga invites us to meet the challenges we face on the mat with courage and an open heart, so that we may bring the strength we find there into our lives off the mat. Pradeep’s classes are challenging yet accessible in their simplicity, and the weekend’s practices are appropriate for yogis of all levels.
On retreat we will have four yoga + meditation sessions in Pradeep's unique Bhakthi vinyasa style and humor, with attention to breath, flow, and finding the joy in our lives through the practice.
The cost of the retreat includes yoga instruction, lodging, all meals, beverages, snacks, and full use of the retreat center grounds and facilities. Participants will have free time during the day to relax, journal, soak in the hot tub, and explore the ample hiking trails among the redwoods and spectacular views of Monterey Bay.
We will have free time between 11 a.m. and 3:00pm on Saturday. During that time you may choose to book various bodywork sessions through the Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center. Appointments may be booked in advance by calling 408.847.3276, Monday through Friday, 11 am - 1pm. Mount Madonna Center is a conference and retreat center located on 355 acres of mountain-top redwood forest and grassland overlooking Monterey Bay, between Santa Cruz and Monterey, in Northern California. It is a community designed to nurture the creative arts and the health sciences within a context of personal and spiritual growth, inspired by Baba Hari Dass and sponsored by the Hanuman Fellowship, a group whose talents and interests are unified by the common practice of Yoga.
Approximately 2 hours driving time south of San Francisco, in the Santa Cruz Mountains of the Central California coast, Mount Madonna Center overlooks Monterey Bay from Santa Cruz to Monterey and Pacific Grove.
